Pets

We are pet-friendly.
Your four-legged friend is welcome here!
Small and medium-sized pets (max. 10 kg) are allowed with a supplement of €15 per day.
Please let reception know about your pet's stay, and remember to follow these simple rules for the common areas and other hotel guests.

RULES
The owner is responsible for ensuring that their pet does not disturb other guests.
The owner is liable for any damage caused to other guests by their pet.
The owner is responsible for the repair and/or replacement of any items stained or damaged by their pet.
Pets are not allowed in areas where food and drink are served.
They are therefore not allowed in the breakfast room, restaurants, bars, terraces, or areas where there are food and drink vending machines, whether indoors or outdoors. (The only exception is guide dogs).
Animals are not allowed in the meeting rooms (the only exception is guide dogs).
The use of bed linen and towels for animals (toilets, beds, or other items) is not permitted.
Animals are not allowed to roam freely in the hotel. In other common areas, animals are allowed to pass through, provided they are always accompanied and must be kept on a leash and wear a suitable muzzle. Cats must be kept in a special cage.

Animals may not be left alone in rooms during your stay (day or night). Animals are not allowed on beds, armchairs, chairs, tables, etc. (either in rooms or in common areas).
Animals may not be held in your arms in common areas (lobby, breakfast room).

The RECEPTION service is open 24 hours a day. If you have forgotten any items necessary for your stay at the hotel, please contact us and we will provide you with the following items free of charge daily: razor and shaving foam, toothbrush and toothpaste, sewing kit. For any additional courtesy items, pillows, blankets, and towels, we are available to provide them free of charge 24 hours a day.

Iron: Available on request and subject to availability. After use, please leave it outside your room.

Kettle: Available on request, subject to availability.

The room KEY must be kept carefully. In the event of loss or theft of your room key, please notify our reception staff immediately. The room key must be returned upon departure and should not be left in the room. When leaving, please ensure that the door is locked. If you wish, you can use the internal security lock on the handle.

Check-in: From 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. or web check-in.

Check-out time is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., but if you need more time, please do not hesitate to contact us. To avoid waiting at check-out, we recommend that you provide the reception staff with your billing information in advance. Please do not leave valuables in plain sight or unattended luggage during check-in/check-out.

Luggage storage is available free of charge 24 hours a day. For further information, please contact us directly on WhatsApp or by calling the landline in your room and pressing 9.

Medical assistance: for information on emergency services and medical assistance, please contact reception by pressing 9 on the telephone in your room.

Emergency: in case of fire, check the quickest escape route on the floor plan located on the room door. The use of the lift is prohibited in this case.

Book your wake-up call by calling 9 or via our WhatsApp number. Our reception staff will be happy to wish you a good morning at the desired time.  The service is free of charge.

- Have you forgotten something? The following items are available free of charge 24 hours a day: razor and shaving cream, toothbrush and toothpaste, sewing kit.

- Pillows, blankets, towels, and other extra courtesy items are available free of charge 24 hours a day.  

- Air conditioning in your room: you can adjust the temperature directly from the thermostat in your room.  

- Safe: Please do not leave valuables unattended. You will find a digital combination safe in your room to store your belongings. Alternatively, you can request to deposit your valuables in the safe at Reception. The hotel is not responsible for the loss of items that are not properly stored.

- Room tidying: each room has a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign that can be hung on the outside door handle to ensure you are not disturbed during your stay. Rooms are tidied by 3 p.m. Our staff will not tidy your room if the sign is displayed. If you do not wish to receive phone calls in your room, please notify our reception staff (by calling extension 9 from your room phone or via WhatsApp).

Directions for the city centre

JR Hotels Hermes Florence is located opposite the central station, near the Fortezza da Basso and the Palazzo dei Congressi, making it the ideal base for visiting the city and for your business trips. All the main monuments, museums, and historic markets are within walking distance.

There are numerous car parks adjacent to the hotel.
The JR Hotels Hermes Florence is located outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone), allowing you to reach us easily by car.
The main bus lines and taxi rank are located in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. In the evening, you can easily reach the numerous typical osterias and trattorias to spend quiet evenings and enjoy the best dishes of traditional Tuscan cuisine.

By car: from Milan, take the A1 and exit at Firenze Nord; then follow the signs for the Central Station.
From Rome, take the A1 motorway and exit at Firenze Sud, then follow the signs for the Central Station.
By train: the Santa Maria Novella Central Station is located opposite the hotel.
By plane: once you arrive at Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Airport, simply take the T2 tram, which stops in front of the hotel.
